It is currently -34 degrees, right now, with the wind chill . . . and that’s why I am SO excited to finally share today’s blog post because it is giving me all the island vibes!!
Question - How do you have your wedding in Chicago, but still incorporate your love of Hawaii??
Answer - The Crystal Gardens at Navy Pier!!! This gorgeous venue is like the inside of a tropical snow globe, if that snow globe didn’t actually have any snow and it was wall-to-wall palm trees and colorful flowers!! I love when couples are able to find locations that work within their travel needs, but that can be transformed by a talented planner and designer, like Heather Benge Events, into an amazing space that brings all their wedding ideas to life!
This wedding shoot took place in a modern, tropical oasis right in the heart of Chicago, and it had some of the most exotic flowers I’ve ever seen - definitely take your time admiring the bride’s bouquet and all the table arrangements that are full of orchids, birds of paradise, and so many more that I don’t even know the names to! I love how they were able to utilize the existing beauty of the venue and keep the number of decor set-ups to a minimum for the intimate affair, but it still had the grandness of the Chicago skyline as a backdrop and stunning lakefront views that made this wedding shoot one-of-a-kind!
