Lindsey + Jon's Wedding Day

GUYS!!! I am so in love with everything about Lindsey and Jon's wedding day, but especially their emotional first look! These two had the perfect spring day for their wedding in St. Clair Shores, MI and I couldn't have asked to work with a more joyful couple, family, and wedding party!
Lindsey and her bridesmaids started the day out with a toast to the beautiful bride and this group of girls was so much fun to be around as I photographed all of Lindsey's bridal details. All her details complimented their wedding colors of coral, gold, and navy so well! I have actually known Lindsey since college and we were both in the same sorority together, and being there on her wedding day and seeing her get so excited/nervous to see Jon for the first time, made me even happier for her!
When Lindsey saw Jon for the first time, she couldn't hold back her tears. I could tell that all her nerves just fell away, though, as soon as Jon pulled her into a big hug! Jon called me privately a couple days before the wedding to let me know he had a secret surprise for Lindsey and we both agreed that after the first look would be the perfect time to give it to her! Jon presented Lindsey with a small box which concealed a beautiful tennis bracelet and as he fastened it to her wrist, Lindsey was beaming with so much love and joy!!
After their wedding ceremony and family portraits, we headed to a nearby park to get some romantic portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. It was here at Wahby Park that their adorable dog, Nala, actually made an appearance and we had to take a couple photos with all three of them together! Lindsey and Jon danced the rest of the night away at Lakeland Manor and if you ever wanted to see the transformative power of uplighting, check out their dance photos!! The purple and blue uplighting added such a cool ambience to the room and it looked so epic for all the dance photos.
Congratulations, again, Lindsey and Jon!! I am so happy for you both and I feel very honored to have been present on your magical day and to be your wedding photographer!
