During our initial meeting, Emily had me at the words, "Our wedding will be rustic with a vintage flair!" Emily and Jordan also told me how they are planning a wedding day that gives their guests an experience - think a caramel apple and s'more bar, lawn games, and more! I love how much these two love their families and that everything about their wedding day next year screams fall. (Which is also my favorite season!)⠀
Emily and Jordan first hit it off back in their sophomore year of high school when, while at a friend's bonfire party, Jordan ordered a pizza knowing Emily would be the one delivering it! (Smooth moves, Jordan, smooth moves!) He then asked for her phone number and they have been together ever since. These two were the absolute sweetest to work with, and I feel like I have so much in common with them! Emily and Jordan love trying new restaurants together, police show dramas are always in their watchlist, and they love going to see every new Disney movie when it comes out in theaters! I loved capturing how kind and caring Jordan was with Emily and how they lit each other up with laughter.
I couldn't have been happier hanging out with them THIS fall for their engagement photos at the Huron Meadows Metropark in Brighton, MI! We basically had this park all to ourselves as we explored some of the walking paths and took in the gorgeous lake views. The fall colors were perfect for Emily and Jordan!!
I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from Emily + Jordan's engagement session!
